How can I copy-paste multiple scores into the gradebook?

Jump to solution

I've got a CSV file of assignment scores I'd like to easily transfer into my Canvas gradebook. I've read about exporting/importing CSV files into Canvas, but that is more complicated than what I'd like to do. When I open the CSV file into Excel, I can simply highlight and copy the scores. Then I'd like to go to the gradebook and paste the scores into the appropriate column. However, all the scores get pasted into the same cell in the gradebook. Is there some other way I can accomplish this without doing the whole import/export thing?

Howdy  @fmccown ‌,

To your question, basically at this time... no.

The easiest, no-fuss way I've found when importing grades via .csv file is to export the gradebook, add grades (save with same name/format), and then import.

Hope this helps.
