How do I copy assignments between courses?

I have two similar but different classes. I want to share/copy some assignments between them with publishing the assignment to the commons.

Hello  @jsdowd2   There are a few different ways to accomplish this, one with commons and one without. Chris Hofer answered this question very well for another user for how to use the non-commons way.  Here is his response:

How do I use Commons? 

I prefer Chris's method unless I need to add it to multiple other courses, then the commons import is nice as you are able to select all the course to add it to at one time.
