How do I stop a course from adding to my To Do List?

I have a course on canvas for getting involved but they post so much I miss assignments because they don't show up on my To Do list, so I want them to stop showing up on it while keeping the course.

 @mthompson81 , unfortunately I don't believe there is a way to keep the course (in your course list) and not have things from the course show up in the "To Do" list. My recommendation is to contact the person (or people) in charge of this course and let them know what's happening and see if there is anything they can do to help fix this situation.
