App description says that performance and participation data is saved for every student. It's summer and I cannot use students as guinea pigs, so I have no clue what data and how they will show up in my course - I like to set up the grading rubrics before summer is over - next week!

The Canvas Polls app is fairly basic and outside of giving students and teachers a way to authenticate, it's doesn't have any utility outside of the app itself.

App description says that performance and participation data is saved for every student.

The data is not saved or synced with Canvas. The data is only saved to be viewed and reviewed by teachers and students in the Canvas Polls app.

As mentioned above, this is not going to be possible with the Canvas Polls app. Unfortunately, you will have to look at 3rd party solutions.

As mentioned above, this is not going to be possible with the Canvas Polls app. Unfortunately, you will have to look at 3rd party solutions.

This is true, but sad. I wish Instructure would develop polls into a full participation solution.

Highly frustrated!!!!

every student." was the reason I checked out the app - *please remove that

app description from the play store - I wasted 2 hours of my life due to

your false promises.*

Data integration is the only feature that would make sense otherwise I can

use Socrative

Why would you describe such a feature and then not offer it? is that too

hard to program?

Hi Timo,

I completely agree - that phrasing is bad. I think we intended to convey that survey results are synced across devices and mobile platforms. We've removed that from the Play Store description, and we'll update the App Store description the next time we push an update. Sorry for the confusion!
