How do I create a link to a section within the same Page?

Example. My Syllabus Page is long. I want to refer students to subsections further down the same Syllabus Page. Can I create a link to a section within the same Page? How?

Thanks so much for the reply. It brought back fragments of old fading HTML memories and was very helpful.

I am completely new to this resource, having just switched because of COVID-19 restrictions to transitioning my course to online. In the past I've used Canvas as a resource for my in-class courses, but this is completely different.

Since I'm a newbie, I don't yet fully understand Canvas and its resources, let alone how to give "badges" or other goodies for a person so kind as to give me a reply. So I hope for now just a "Thank You" is sufficient.
