How to allow for ALL Results to be exported via LTI app

One the limitations we discovered with LTI is that we can't import Results from that were not created by our application.
We have a data warehousing solution and have received requests from districts to aggregate and provide reports for all Results.
Is there are a way a teacher can grant access to our LTI app to the rest of the Results (not created by our assessments) or we do need to use the Canvas API to import those results? Any other way?
