How to see notifications and information for my son's class?

I want to keep up with his assignments and submitted work to help motivate to complete his requirements.  Can I get notifications?

Has your school district offered the chance to be an observer in Canvas? That would work. Another idea would be to go into your son's account settings and add your cell phone number. Then, you could choose the notifications that you want via text.

I think having your own Observer account would be preferable as you and your son have different notification needs.
