How to withdraw student from class

How do I withdraw a student from a class?  She found a class the better suits her schedule.

Ultimately this depends on how your institution has set up the course.  If the students/users are enrolled from a Student Information System (SIS) import, then only an admin level user can remove users from courses.  If that is not the case, in the "People" menu item, you can click the three dots to the left of the names and select "Remove from Course".
