I can't see feedback on downloaded assignment?

I've recently gotten feedback on a group project. The feedback was only attached to my document however, so I need to download my feedback and sent it to the other group members. I did download the document, but my professor's comments weren't attached, I could see the parts he'd highlighted but the comments weren't there. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, or is my computer, software etc. not compatible with downloading the document where the feedback is included?

Are you using Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the comments? Many PDF readers, including those that come built into the web browsers do not support PDF comments.
