I need help. Canvas is not completely loading for me on my MacBook Pro. It works fine on my iPhone, but not my computer. It is only the canvas website that is giving me trouble.

for instance the calendar does not load, nor does the dashboard, sometimes the reply box does not load or the submit button

Are you sure you are using a supported web browser? https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10461-supported-web-browsers 

If you are using Safari it generally won't update unless you also update your operating system.  So if your OS is not up to date Safari also will not be.  I typically use Google Chrome on my Mac and it tends to auto-update and stay current no matter what the version of the OS is on my computer.  I suggest trying a different web browser to see if that has any affect.
