Instructor Announcement Notification

Does the primary instructor receive a notification when the course announcment is sent to the users?

Hi Kerri (@Silverpolarbear)...

Canvas users can set their own notification preference both at the user account level and at the course level.  There are two notification settings that those with the "Teacher" role may be interested in configuring:

• Announcement
• Announcement Created By You

On your "Notifications" screen, you can hover your mouse over the name of either of these, and you'll see a small pop-up message that gives a further description of what each of these notifications means.
