I have a zoom personal account registered under a personal email.

I want to integrate the canvas platform of the Universidad de Los Andes with that zoom account to teach my students. However, after introducing zoom in my Canvas course which uses my univesity email (mivial@uandes.cl), it says that there is no zoom account under that email.

¿Is it possible to integrate my personal zoom account in the Canvas platform of my university although it uses a different email address?

Many thanks

Gracias

Hello there, @mivial ...

I am sorry to see that your question has been sitting out here for so long without a response.  Assuming that your school has integrated the Zoom LTI external tool app into your school's Canvas environment (so that you see a "Zoom" button within your Canvas course navigation buttons), it's probably the case that you will need to use your school e-mail rather than your personal email.  When you launch the "Zoom" interface within your Canvas course(s), it is authenticating into Zoom using your e-mail address that is tied to your Canvas account...which I assume is your school e-mail account.  So, if you schedule any Zoom meetings inside of your Canvas courses, you can later on log into the Zoom.us website with your school e-mail address, and you should see those meetings listed there, too...because it's the same account.

I hope this will help a bit.  Sing out if you have any other questions about this...thanks!  Take care, stay safe, and be well.
