Is there any reason why a student can't see an assignment after re-submitting it?

I have an assignment set up as a free text entry or a doct upload. Students can submit more than one time this assignment. As a teacher, I can see all the submissions, but as a student, I only can see the latest submission. Is there any reason for that? How can I allow students to see all their submissions?

Greetings! A student can view all of their submissions for an assignment from the Canvas Student Mobile app. From a web browser, students are only able to view their most recent submission. There is a feature idea for this functionality - https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/1076-student-view-view-submissions-and-comments-for-all-submis... - and I recommend commenting and voting on why it would be helpful for students to have this functionality in the web browser.

 @kona ‌ gave you an awesome work-a-round for your question (and I've voted on this feature myself). You can make all assignments visible to students in the traditional instance, but it requires some work on the instructors end:

"Students will not be able to view their previous submissions after resubmitting unless you reupload the assignments to Canvas." https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10082-415254251
