Is there anyway to search an entire Canvas course for a specific phrase?

In the past we've encouraged students to use Open Office in multiple assignments in multiple courses. Open Office is no longer being updated so we want to remove that language. Is there an easy way to search an entire course for a specific phrase and see all the pages and assignments where that phrase occurs?

@bbrown , right now there isn't a way on the front end of Canvas to do this. Yet, there is a lot of conversation and some suggestions of work-arounds that can be found on the following feature idea - https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/1165-comprehensive-course-search-tool-searching-course-content...

https://community.canvaslms.com/community/answers/partners-platform/atomic-jolt?sr=search&searchId=d...‌ offers a Canvas search tool, but it is a Canvas add on developed by a third party, not by Instructure.

Hello  @bbrown ...

I noticed that we have not heard from you since you first posted this question on August 17th and then received replies from  @kona ‌,  @dhulsey ‌, and stefaniesanders‌ later that day.  Have you had an opportunity to review those responses?  Did any of their responses help to answer your question?  If so, please feel free to mark one of them as "Correct".  However, if you are still looking for some help with this question, please come back to this posting to provide an update below so that members of the Canvas Community can help you out.  For now, since we haven't heard back from you and since there hasn't been any new activity for over a month, I'm going to mark your question as "Assumed Answered", but that won't prevent you or others from posting additional questions/comments below.  I hope that's alright with you.  Looking forward to hearing back from you soon!
