Late Work Policies for Higher Ed?

Hi there! This is my first post, so I hope I can find an answer! 

I'm working to implement a late work policy for our online master's programs. I'd like for assignments to stay open, but have a penalty for being submitted beyond a due date ( 5%/day to a maximum deduction of 25% before a contract needs to be made), and I found this article:

It looks like it was updated this July, but I can't see these options in my gradebook! Is there something I'm missing here? It doesn't look like there are any settings for Late Work Policies. Please get back to me when you can, I'd really love for this functionality to work!

Hi Patrick, I had to go to Canvas settings in my course--->feature options to enable the new grade book.

Nice! Yeah, I just realized that what I was using wasn't the "New" gradebook! This is very exciting  Thanks for the prompt reply!
