Logging into Canvas Student App

Good day!
I've been using my Canvas account for a long period of time and it seems like I am having a problem logging into my account for several times. Every time I enter my password into the website it always states that I have a wrong password even though the password that I provide is right.
Also, every time I request for password it always take more than 30 mins. Can you give me a brief explanation about it?

Double-check that you are using the same URL in the app as you would in a browser. It's important that you select your school before entering your username and password.
Where do I find my institution's URL to access Canvas?
Alternatively, you could try the QR code option! I think that's helpful when things aren't working as smoothly as usual.
