Manually-entered points for question not updating correctly?

With the new "Speed Grader", question point values do not reliably update properly.  Sometimes manually-entered point values for a question from one student's exam are carried over to the same question in the next student's exam.  This requires an additional page reload to correct. Grading in Canvas is painful enough without having to deal with this issue!!!  Why, oh why, is it taking so long to be able to look at all students' answers to a given question on one page???
