I notice that math formulas do not render properly on the Canvas app on iOS. Formulas that I constructed using MathJax show up as raw LaTeX when viewed on an iPad with the app. They look fine viewed with the Safari browser. Bizarrely, I did a test earlier, and they rendered fine, but when I used it in a real page it looks like gobbledy-**bleep** to someone not familiar with LaTeX. I am attaching screenshots of both display and edit modes on browser and App. I am running iOS 15.2.1.
I imagine this is a problem on Android devices too but have not tried.
Is there any way around this issue, or is this a known (an possible improvable) limitation of the app?
Just a correction -- the images are all from the app. I am showing the "test version" which worked, and the "production page" which did not.
Let try this as a first step. Can you make sure you have the most up-to-date version on your iOS device and then also uninstall and reinstall the app. This can help narrow down if it's the app itself or the device since they work on the browser.
