Multiple notifications on the app

I am getting triple notifications for everything in the canvas app. I am not getting multiple email notifications or alerts on the website, just on the iOS app and I am not sure why.

I am also getting notifications for a mystery class. In the past it usually was for a class I had dropped after the first week and though it was removed from the Canvas mobile app I would get notifications for assignments I missed even though I had already unenrolled from that class. This semester I am getting it for a mystery class. I am not sure what class it would be because I didn't drop any after the start.

 

I am going to reinstall the app but there seems to be an issue with the mobile app.

Hi @TroyDavidson

I would suggest trying any of  the following:

  1. Sign out of the app, and sign back in 
  2. Delete the users from the app and sign back in
  3. Reinstall the app
  4. Turn off notifications at the device level (in the settings) for a few minutes and then turn them back on
  5. Turn off all notifications in Canvas under "Push Notifications: For all devices" wait a few minutes and turn them back on
