Muting Tabs

Is there a way for me to hide the tabs that my teacher is not using? Is there a way for me to request for them to hide the tabs or how would you reccomend asking them? Some of my teacher's icon pages are very jumbled and it would be easier to navigate if some of the unused tabs were muted.

Hello  @jorden-levine  Welcome to the Canvas Community.  Thank you for posting your question.  If by "tabs", you are referring to the course navigation buttons on the left side of your Canvas course (such as "Modules", "Discussions", "Assignments", "Quizzes", "Pages", "Files", etc.), then your instructor can completely customize which of those buttons he/she wants visible and which he/she wants hidden to students.  Here is a Guide that your instructor can use to configure those buttons: How do I manage Course Navigation links?.
