Welcome to the Canvas Community! If your institution allows it, you can change your name by following the instructions in How do I edit my profile in my user account as a student? . Your school may have disabled that permission, perhaps because they manage names centrally on behalf of their students and faculty; if that's the case, please contact them directly to request the change.
