New Attempt Limitation of Assignments

Hi

I'm using the new attempt limitation for assignments (tests/quizzes in SCORM package that include an Articulate Storyline 360 quiz).

If a student unintentionally open the assignment without taking the quiz, the LMS captures it as a first attempt and allocates a 0% grade. The student is then locked out because they are only allowed one attempt. 

How do I "unlock" the assignment for that student so that they can have a second attempt?

Thank you, but you are missing the point – this is not about a Canvas quiz (which I know how to do), but about a SCORM package that contains an Articulate quiz that is uploaded a graded assignment.

With the new ability to limit attempts in assignments, I limited my assignment (uploaded as a SCORM package) to one attempt.

Hi  @mervin ...

Many apologies for not completely understanding your question.  The bulk of your original question seemed to be about quizzes, and so that is probably what had me confused when you said that you were also using the new attempt limitation...which is more for assignments in Canvas.  Unfortunately, my experience with SCORM packages is not great, so I am going to need to defer to others here in the Community that might have more experience with that than I have.  I also do not have much experience with Articulate Storyline 360 yet...though my former supervisor (his last day was this past Friday...sad to say) has said that I should put this on my plate to investigate.  I am hopeful that you'll receive some good feedback from other members of the Community.  We are here to help!  Take care...
