No option to change highlight color in ios app

The highlight tool no longer allows me to change color after selecting text. Was working one day and the next the option was gone. I only get two options now, “Comments”and “Remove.” 

I’m posting this here because my university was unable to help. Others at my school are experiencing the same thing. Changing color is integral to my grading process. Any help would be appreciated.
