No submissions grading with Teacher App

I am having a hard time figuring out how to grade assignments on the Canvas Teacher App that are classified as an On Paper, and/or No Submissions. Does anyone know of how we are able to do this?

Hi @NSY - You can absolutely use the Teacher App to grade those items.

First, Find the Assignment. Then, Tap the Graded (empty) circle in the submissions line. From this screen, tap Filter in the top-right corner. Select All Submission. Here, you can open any student on your list. Grades at the bottom opens up the place to add scores/status.

This works for both On Paper and No Submission assignments. I really enjoy being able to walk around the classroom with my iPad and enter scores/completion and comments.

I am struggling with this as well. My students give speeches in class and I need to upload their grades with comments. I followed the instructions, but I don't see the Graded (empty) circle, nor do I see a submissions line.

Hi @AllyLoprete -

In the Teacher App, you'll see some items in your To Do, but also under Assignments. It requires a few taps, but you'll eventually find what you need.
