With the phasing out of the old/legacy Course Analytics, I've been left trying to figure out how to quickly and efficiently determine the # of missing assignments a student has.
The legacy version of Course Analytics included this information in one of its columns of data.
I've run the Missing Assignments report underneath the "Reports" tab, but this produces a detailed list of each missing assignment for each student; way too much information and inefficient.
Ideally, I would like to see the "Missing" column returned/added to the table of data found in New Analytics / Students tab.
Does anyone know of any work arounds or how to appeal to the Canvas design team to make this update?
Thank you!

If you have not already done so, then I would recommend that you submit this as an idea to the Canvas Community.
Based on what currently exists in the LMS, if you are interested in taking this to the next step, you would need to submit this to the Canvas Community as an idea by going to https://community.canvaslms.
Try to be as specific as possible when you describe it and mention how it exists with legacy analytics but it does not exist with the latest version of analytics.

Hi @MatthewCrouch,
Do any of the reports described in the How do I view and download reports in New Analytic... - Instructure Community - 409936 guide help you?

Unfortunately, no. I feel comfortable running the reports that Canvas offers, but none of which seem to offer a simple number of missing assignments for each student. The legacy Analytics screen had a screen that looks a lot like the current "Students" tab, but it one of its columns was the # of missing assignments for that student. It would be great if Canvas could add this data point to their current Students tab.
If you have not already done so, then I would recommend that you submit this as an idea to the Canvas Community.
