Partial credit for ordering question in quizzes.next

Jump to solution

There is a question type in quizzes.next called ordering. Students have to drag and drop items into the right order. Is it possible to give partial credit if they got some in the right order, but not all?

@richard_gardner ‌, I apologize that your follow-up question has been sitting out here for a while without a response. Quizzes.Next is an LTI that was built from the ground up by Canvas. The feature idea to which you'd want to lend your support is https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/12880-partial-credit-for-matching-categorization-and-sorting-q...

@richard_gardner , greetings and welcome to the Canvas Community! I did some checking and based on what I can see on this guide - https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-15074-4152780605 - it doesn't look like it is possible to automatically give partial credit. You could always go in and manually give partial credit though, but I'm not sure how well that would work if you had a large class.

Now I'm playing with the categorization question type in quizzes.next. Seems like that is all or nothing as well. If I would like to suggest modifying the software to allow partial credit, do I ask Canvas or is quizzes.next developed by a third party company?
