Publishing quizzes and availability

Hi,

I was wondering what exactly does "availability" option in quizzes entail. For example, when you hit publish, can the students view the questions (but cannot submit the answers until the quiz is available)? Or is the quiz locked - i.e. cannot view the questions or submit answers - until it is available?

Hi momokotakahashi2021 Welcome to the worldwide Canvas Community and thanks for your question. You should definitely bookmark the following document from superstar  @kona ‌: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-3313-quiz-settings-to-maximize-security .  Basically, students can NOT see anything in the quiz until the Available from date; it is locked.
