Quiz Timer

I have a question regarding the timer built into Canvas for Quizzes. Although this feature is very handy, it is only handy if students can see the timer as they progress and scroll down the page.  The timer shows up on the right hand side when they start however for students to see how much time they have left during the quiz, they have to scroll back up again.  Would it be possible to have the timer move with the page so that students can have the timer available as they answer questions and scroll down the quiz page?
