How do I add or edit details in an assignment?

I created an assignment and published it for students with points to encourage them to complete the work. Students have submitted work through the LTI but  I would now like to change it from points to Not Graded but it will not let me save.  What am I not understanding?

Hello there, @mlpollock ...

If you have a Canvas assignment that is using an External Tool (LTI) integrated into the assignment, when you change the "Display Grade as" dropdown list from "Points" to "Not Graded", it will remove the connected LTI from your assignment.  You would need to re-choose "Points" from that dropdown list, and then select "External Tool" from the "Submissions" dropdown list.  Instead of selecting "Not Graded", would it work for you to just check the box "Do not count this assignment towards the final grade"?  Would that accomplish the same thing for you?
