How do I use cross-listing in an account?

Would it be a good practice to cross-link courses between different teachers and subjects?  The application here is departmentalization in the elementary schools.

Hi @scott_mecca ...

I don't really know exactly the details (other than what you've provided) for your situation, but cross-listing only moves enrollments.  It does not move course content.  So, for example, if you had an instructor teaching two classes called "Tent Camping 101".  The content in each course was identical, but you had different students in each course.  You could cross-list both of these courses together so that all enrollments from one of the two courses flowed into the other.  You would see the students separated out by course within the "People" page of the course.  Typically, if you wanted to cross-list, you would want to do this prior to the course starting.  Here are a couple Guides for you to look through:
