Remote Group Video Projects

Is there a good way to have two students who live remotely to work together to create a video project with PPT's and picture-in-picture narration by both students?  Suggestions?

Your best bet would be to have each student create their own videos with their phones or whatever tools they are comfortable with. They should create movie files of some type (MP4 is usually the easiest to use and most universally recognized by devices). Then, outside Canvas, create the PPT, and integrate the video. Then submit the PPT.
