Self sign-up in the Canvas app?

Hi all,
Quick question, is it possible for students to self sign-up to a group in the Canvas app?
I scanned the guides but cannot seem to find a satisfying answer.
Of course I tested this and it seems not to be possible, but I would like to see it confirmed.

Hi  @g_schriek ‌ - 

Your research is correct! Any self-enrollments will need to be done on the web (or mobile web). The app currently doesn't support self-enrollments or course invitations. If this is an important part of your workflow, I encourage you to create an idea to have this feature added to the mobile app.

Thank you Ryan - for now it is enough to know that it is simply not working, but submitting a feature is also a good idea.
