Sort assignments by grade, while maintaining anonymity.

In Speedgrader, it would be great to have an option to sort by grade (for those scripts where grades have already been awarded). Often markers need to quickly scan through marked papers comparing them to each other to check that they are marking appropriately. For example, they might quickly compare a subsample of scripts from different grade bands to check that they are being consistent. This is difficult to do if scripts are not sorted by grade.

NB anonymity needs to be maintained. It is possible to sort by grade in grade centre, but only if scripts have been de-anonymised. Anonymisation is essential for removing marker bias.

@Nick_Riches1  Thanks for sharing this idea. Graders can use the Gradebook to sort an assignment by grade (low-to-high, high-to-low); are they currently using this functionality?

Thanks. I am slightly confused. To rank grades in gradebook grades need to be revealed. The only way to do this is to deanonymise. But anonymisation needs to be maintained for markers. Is it possible to view marks in gradebook while blanking out student names?

@Nick_Riches1  The idea doesn't reference anonymous grading. Would you please edit the idea so that it encompasses all of the elements of the problem statement?
