Speed Grader issue

I have assigned two separate quizzes, 1 quiz to periods 1 and 7 and a different quiz to periods 3 and 6. I can see the quizzes when I go into "moderate this quiz" but nothing comes up in the speed grader. Can this be changed?

Was it a practice quiz or ungraded survey? Since those don't give grades, they don't show up in SpeedGrader.

Also, ungraded discussions cannot be accessed in SpeedGrader since they do not have grades attached to them.

To get things to show up in SpeedGrader, they need to appear in the gradebook, which means they cannot be ungraded.

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, it is graded. I didn’t do anything different than the other 2 sections and they showed up in speed grader. I can see the sections and grades if I click on “moderate this quiz”.

Do you have filtering applied to the gradebook / SpeedGrader?

If a filter is applied in the Gradebook

and then you go into SpeedGrader, you will only see the students from the filtered sections.

You can change that in SpeedGrader, by clicking the dropdown for the student names, then clicking the left arrow where mine says "< Showing: MATH 113-01"

That opens a menu where you can choose other sections or to show all students.

If that doesn't fix it, I would wonder about grading periods, but we don't use them so I'm not up on all their functionality and restrictions.
