Student View

I have supervisor rights for my school and the student view button from teacher homepages is no longer there. Is there a way to get that button/feature back?

Hey  @snuggsj 

I just popped into your school's instance and looked at a couple of courses.  I'm seeing the "Student View" button at the bottom of the list on the right and each course that I go into.

Just a couple troubleshooting tips.  You may want to check Which browsers does Canvas support?‌ - to make sure you're on a supported browser.  Sometimes a cache clear may help too.

Thank you for the quick response. I'm using google and I cleared by cache but student view still isn't showing for the majority of courses. I can only see student view on courses where teachers have added me as teachers to their courses.

Ok, were you set up with a custom role setting that allows you to go into any courses?  If so, that custom role may have a permission that is preventing the view.
