Studio quizzes don't show up as missing

When students fail to take a canvas studio quiz assignment, it fails to show up in the Canvas gradebook as missing.  Teachers have to manually select that label.  Is this expected behavior?

Hello there, @BStutzman ...

I'm not 100% sure of an answer for you, but I'll just throw this out there as a possible guess...  I wonder if may be expected behavior only because Studio is built as a LTI external tool (an additional paid product from Instructure) rather than something that is part of the standard Canvas interface???  Again, I have no idea if this could be the reason, but that's the first thing that came to mind.
