Studio video restricted on Chromebook

Students are getting an error on some assignments with Studio videos from youtube. This is only occurring on Chromebooks. The error is 'This video is restricted. Try signing in with a G Suite account.'

I can log in as the student on a PC and watch the video with no issue.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

We don't use Chromebooks so I can't help you this question, but I am going to share this over with the Canvas Studio Users Group‌ with the hopes someone in that group might have had this happen to them and can assist you.

 @smyrick , greetings! I don't have a Chromebook to test this myself, but I know we have a lot of students with Chromebooks and we also use Studio, and haven't had any reports of this. My recommendation is to contact Canvas Support to see if they can help.

I'm having this same issue with a student and trying to get resolution. None of my other students have had this issue.

I have heard of this happening with Chromebooks issued to K-12 students.  The school restricted the viewing of YouTube, Facebook, etc.  If it is a K-12 student you may want to check with the school.

I'm having this issue with a NatGeo YouTube video. Students (all have Chromebooks) are getting a "Video restricted...Gsuite" message. Other videos on YouTube, linked within the same quiz, are not getting tagged this way. I have this going under a different thread as well...
