Hi,  @olivia_cameron  Welcome to the Canvas Community! The quickest way for users to get support that is specific to their courses and school is to use the help options displayed on the Help menu in the global navigation. I see you're at Newcastle, and the support options on that Help menu include a 24/7 Canvas Support Hotline as well as a Chat with Canvas Support (with separate options for students and staff). If you aren't in a position to have a synchronous discussion with a support agent right now, using the Report a problem option on your menu will still get you a quick response. How do I get help with Canvas as an instructor?‌ provides the general instructions.

thank you. However the 'Help' tab just asks me to log in again and seems to take me to a general Q&A section adn guides. where is the support line and chat link?

 @olivia_cameron , based on that screenshot, it appears that you are using Chrome to access Canvas, and I suspect you are using an out-of-date browser—which is why content is not displaying properly. Please check your browser version with the ones listed in https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10720-which-browsers-does-canvas-support and if yours is older, update as needed. This should get you up and running again.
