Tele-School Options

Our institution primarily uses Canvas as a supplement for face-to-face courses, though we have a number of fully online courses as well. It certainly has great tools for both of those situations.

What we're thinking about currently are semi-impromptu online meetings for otherwise face-to-face classes. There are definitely plenty of tools for live interaction, sharing, and commenting (BigBlueButton, discussion forums, the Kaltura Media Gallery) but I'm wondering if anyone has thought about this question and had success with packaging and presenting these resources, particularly to instructors who may not use Canvas especially much.

Our school uses ConferZoom. We've had good luck with that so far.

Take a look at Newrow.  We have been using them for video conferencing but they have an online course presence as well.  Integrates nicely in Canvas.
