Test Bank creation and Upload without having to type in questions individually

I have been trying upload a complete test bank in canvas format from a publisher and pdf & word format tests; I do not want to have to type in every question individually.  Please advise thank you.

You might want to investigate the Respondus Exam Authoring Tool.  I have a complete write-up here in the Community on how the software works...which you can find by visiting Batch Uploading Quiz Questions with Respondus.
