The number of times a student responds to one or all discussions

Is there a quick way to view how many times a student has replied to one discussion thread? Is there a quick way to view how many times a student has contributed an entry to all discussions in a semester?

I believe the answer is no to your second question. However, you can see how many discussions a student posted by clicking into the assignment. If you are looking for a specific student, you can scroll down and type their name in the box and it will populate everything.

If you are just looking in general for grading purposes, you will want to go to speed grader.

From there, you can go through your students and it will populate all their responses.
