Unable to open "collaborations" in class

I can get to my son's page for his speech team, but unable to open the collaborations tab to see shared google docs.

Hi Pam -

When you click on Collaborations, what happens? Do you see items that are then unreachable, or does the entire tab disabled?

if you're able to share a screenshot, that would be helpful.

On my phone app, there isn’t even a collaboration tab to open.

On line with the website, it has the Collaboration tab to open. I open it and it just has the welcome page.

I know two google docs were shared on there, but they don’t show up for me.

With Canvas Parent, you're correct. The best way to see that tab is using the browser or the Canvas Student app with your same credentials. The Canvas Parent app is meant to house the essentials. (Observer Role vs Canvas Parent)

From the browser, if you can see the welcome page, I wonder if those items are shared with you. Could you send a message to the instructor/moderator to verify that you have permission to view the items?
