Is there a way to view who has viewed documents that I have posted on CANVAS? I would like to assure and encourage students to review notes and incentivize that by offering some type of credit to those who look at the notes prior to class. Can I do this in Canvas?

@lisa_m_beckley- , are the documents directly on the Module? If so, then you could use the access report Chris mentioned or the following Canvancement to see if  access by content item (rather than by student) - https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-6061-obtaining-and-using-access-report-data-for-an-entire-c...

Hope this helps!

Hello there,  @lisa_m_beckley-  Welcome to the Canvas Community.  Thank you for posting your message.  The "Access Report" might be just what you are looking for.  However, I *think* you'd need to view each report individually.  I'm not sure if a report exists that you can see everyone's access all at one time.  Here's a Guide to help you: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10162-415241458
