What applications are required to open a lab on Canvas?

Currently, I am unable to open a lab activity. When I click on the tab, it says that I do not have any applications installed that can handle this file. I am using a Chromebook laptop.

 @apeik087  Welcome to the Canvas Community! You'll need to contact the course instructor directly to learn more about the application they wish for you to use in your lab activities. The quickest way to do that is to send them a direct message through the Canvas Inbox (How do I send a message to a user in a course in the Inbox as a student?‌).
