This would be a huge time saver.

@jhurley , please post requests for updates to ideas in the comments section of the idea itself. You shouldn't expect an immediate response from the product team, but the various product managers are in the process of reviewing the ideas in the https://community.canvaslms.com/community/ideas?sr=search&searchId=f702a683-21ea-4da1-a6d9-256b11b4e... and will be posting status updates--so that's the best place to get their attention!
It is a huge time saver for sure. Have you considered using a clipboard manager, Jennifer? I use JoeJoe's freeware utilities - [ArsClip] . It expands the clipboard and allows you to save items like comments for reuse, and because it is your clipboard, you can use the comments anywhere: speedgrader, email, conversations, etc.
Anyway, I know folks want Canvas to have a comment bank, but, in the meantime, try a clip board manager.
This link installed malware on my computer, so I would not recommend it.
Hi, Jennifer. I am sorry you had a bad experience. I have been using Arsclip for years from that page and have never had any malware or had a problem with installing it on multiple machines. I am grading discussions with it in Canvas this morning in fact. However, if you dislike Arsclip, there are many other clipboard managers available. Here is a list of popular managers: 6 Free Clipboard History Managers to Track What You Copy & Paste. Perhaps you can find something that works for you from that list.
Have a good day!

Hi Stefanie, I spent a long time searching but could not find this idea listed except in very old threads. The Canvas community section is not very user friendly.
I'm sorry to hear that, @jhurley . Here's the link to the idea: https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/1751-ability-to-save-and-copy-from-frequently-used-comments-in... I was able to find it by clicking on Ideas at the top of the Community page, and then on Content. When I typed Crocodoc in the search box, the idea was at the top of the search results. But: I use this site all the time, so perhaps I'm too close to it to see the problems. Would you be able to post your specific concerns about how the Community site works, and suggestions on how to improve it, in the https://community.canvaslms.com/groups/community?sr=search&searchId=80f374b6-d491-4441-bb01-a92c4c94...? We'd love to hear from you.
