Does anyone know why a Turnitin LTI assignment would not show the Canvas feedback tools in the speed grader, as in the top example in this picture? Thanks for your help!

Hi @smedshammerm ,
According to the https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-9989-415264431 guide, you should have the notation bar. My guess is it's a bug, but I'm going to share with the https://community.canvaslms.com/groups/plagiarism?sr=search&searchId=879b42ef-2e5b-44c2-8435-9b28020... group as well as suggest you lodge a ticket with Turnitin. The Plagiarism group should have some good insight while you wait on info hearing back!

Thank you, Roxanne!
You're right, Roxanne: TII confirmed this as a bug. Thank you again.
I'm glad you got it confirmed, @smedshammerm ! Let us know if there's anything else that comes up.
How does the faculty who has this issue grade and give feedback to the "buggy" assignment? Did anyone have this follow-up issue? I have a faculty who is in this situation and am looking for solutions; grateful in advance for any spark of brilliance you can share 🙂

@myanalunas , sorry to hear there are problems. No one likes bugs in canvas or Turnitin.
The faculty member could grade in Turnitin. That is what I do all of the time anyway, and the ability to save and reuse comments in Turnitin is super awesome. It saves me a ton of time.
Hi Dallas:
Thank you for this helpful response - I'll pass it along to the faculty member. Bugs are not often our friends - especially in technology 🙂
