Working Offline in Canvas

Jump to solution

Is there a way to work offline in Canvas and still have access to student submissions and rubrics? If yes, can you then upload your work to update in Canvas? Thanks!

Hello,  @tvgator ‌!

I wanted to bring your attention to a Feature Idea that's been in the Community for quite some time: https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/3981-offline-grading-in-speedgrader This idea is centered around mobile devices and is currently listed as on Canvas' "Radar"; which sort of means, "Great idea, and we're thinking about it as well...but for the future."

Any sort of "offline" content is not a new topic of conversation around here. One of my favorite polls and subsequent conversations is https://community.canvaslms.com/polls/1262-how-do-you-feel-about-offline-content-for-canvas-mobile Check it out and let me know your thoughts!

(I do want to mention that you and your students can take content from the course with you - but it will be a static snapshot. Check out these guides: How do I view course content offline as an HTML file as an instructor?  and https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10683-4212716124 )
