How do I add a gradebook column?

Hi  @sodikoff  and welcome to the Canvas community. Columns in the gradebook are usually associated with an assignment. To add a new gradebook column, you need to create an assignment with the same name as the column heading you want to create. If students are not actually going to be submitting work that relates to this gradebook column, you can set the assignment type to "no submission". This means students won't be prompted to submit anything but you can still enter grades/values that will display in the gradebook.
