I used the annotation tool to set-up the assignment and they are able to use the drawing tool. However, when they submit, I cannot see all of their drawing. I can only see parts of what they've drawn. It's like I can see parts of the math problem and their work, but not everything. I tried, zooming, full-screen, downloading, using a Word doc, using a PDF, but none have worked. I'm in Chrome. How can this be fixed?
Hi @TeriLight,
Using Canvas Free for Teachers (an area that I use to play around), I just created two assignments that use the student annotations submission type. One of the assignments contained a DOCX file and the other had a PDF file.
I used the "View as Student" feature to submit my annotations. After leaving that view, I was able to see the work without any problems.
What type of devices are student using to submit their work?
As you using the new functionality described at Introducing Performance and Usability Upgrades for... - Instructure Community - 645453 or are you using the standard version?
Have you reported this directly to Canvas Support?
