Welcome to the Canvas Community. Thanks for posting your question. If by "unit" you mean a Canvas Module, you cannot enroll people per module. You can only enroll people in courses. If you are an instructor, you might be able to add people to your course on your own (if your school allows it). Otherwise, you will need to talk with someone at your school who is a local Canvas administrator to see if he/she would be willing to enroll others in your course(s).
